Phonics and Early Reading, 1st-3rd Class (School Summer Standardised Testing Prep.), Mondays 4.00-5.00pm, April 13th-May 18th (5 weeks, no class May 4th)

This block will specifically focus on reinforcing skills and building confidence for daunting school summer standardised testing. This small group class, which is suitable for children from 1st to 3rd Class, helps children who are struggling with early phonics and reading. We know that phonological awareness skills are the basis of all reading, spelling and writing so when a gap in understanding arises it can lead to a blow in confidence and possible difficulties throughout schooling. This class reinforces early phonics, reading and spelling through fun, multi-sensory activities and games, boosting confidence and allowing every child to experience success at their level.
