Embark on a transformative journey with the Hive Education Community through this 20-hour online course, designed by Primary Teacher, PT and Nutritionist Aisling Farrell, earning primary school educators 3 EPV days. This course is tailored for both Primary; Mainstream and Special School Educators, Special Education Teachers (SETs), Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs), and school leaders across Ireland. Additionally, it serves as a valuable resource for Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) aiming to enhance their understanding of bridging the academic and emotional wellbeing of children within their supportive role.

This course prioritises the wellbeing of educators and students alike, equipping participants with vital knowledge and skills to promote a greater sense of teacher wellbeing and happiness in order to effectively support learners’ physical and emotional. Participants will become familiar with physical and emotional wellbeing through a practical and self-reflective study of their own nutrition, exercise, mental health and happiness while learning practical tools, skills, and strategies to promote well-being in the classroom and throughout the school.

Throughout the course, participants will delve into the intricacies of supporting their own physical and emotional wellbeing and its effects on teaching and learning, underscoring the significance of teacher wellbeing on student learning.
